Duck River Electric Membership Corporation is 80 this year and we want to celebrate with you. Celebrate 80 years of light with us from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the following dates.

Columbia – Columbia DREMC office – April 15

Chapel Hill – Chapel Hill DREMC office – May 3

Lewisburg – Lewisburg DREMC office – June 3

Shelbyville – Shelbyville DREMC office – June 24

Manchester – Manchester DREMC office – Sept. 2

 Lynchburg – Lynchburg DREMC office – Sept. 6

 Sewanee – Sewanee DREMC office – Sept. 22

Decherd –  Decherd DREMC office -Oct. 7

Hot dogs, drinks, popcorn, information displays, and program sign-ups are part of the event aimed at thanking the community and co-op membership. Best of all, it’s free. A live HIGH VOLTAGE safety trailer will be on hand to showcase the dangers of electricity. The demonstrations will take place throughout the day.  We will also have a display of DREMC and electric utility memorabilia.
