As an electric cooperative, we are owned by the members we serve, providing safe, reliable electric service to more than 68,000 consumers located in all or portions of 15 counties in south central Tennessee 24-hours per day, seven days per week. Employment opportunities include jobs ranging from cashiers to clerical to technical to linemen to supervisory to management.

Because we are considered to be a federal contractor since we borrow money from the federal government through the Rural Utilities Service, we are required to post job openings with the State of Tennessee Department of Employment Security, Division of Workforce Development, in the town where the position is vacant. Normal procedure is to post job openings internally to allow for any interested current employee to apply. If there is no internal interest shown in the position, it is then submitted to the Division of Workforce Development.
