To better communicate with our members, Duck River Electric Membership Corporation is asking that you please update your contact information on file with the cooperative. During the month of August, our Member Service Representatives are making a special effort to ask for your updated information when you call or visit our offices.

As you update your account information this month, we will enter you in a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card. One gift card will be awarded at each of our eight offices after August 31. We encourage you to come by or call our office to update your account information: home phone, cell phone, email address, etc.

Making sure information like phone number(s), mailing address and email address is up-to-date on your DREMC account is just as important to us as it is to you. Periodically, DREMC needs to be able to reach our members to provide important information on cooperative-related issues.

However, we have some member accounts with outdated or incorrect information. This happens easily when a member moves from one location in our service area to another. During this process, phone numbers and email addresses are not always updated by our members. Over time, cell phone numbers change and perhaps landlines are disconnected. This limits our ability to contact you with important information. Mailing addresses can also change without DREMC receiving proper notification, and this can delay or prohibit your receiving a monthly electric bill – or keep you from getting one at all.

Please note that member information will only be used to ensure timely and accurate communication from DREMC. We do not share member data with third-party organizations, unless they are directly related to DREMC and have a role in providing service to our members.

Members needing to update their phone numbers, mailing addresses, and/or emails on file at Duck River EMC are encouraged to complete the Member Contact Form at our office. Please help us by completing the form to ensure your account information is accurate.

You are also welcome to contact your local DREMC office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and give the updated information to our employees.
