It has come to our attention that one of our DREMC members has been contacted by someone claiming to be a representative of the cooperative requesting payment. The member was threatened with disconnection if payment wasn’t made. Fortunately, the member became suspicious and hung up.
No comparta información sobre su identidad con las personas que llaman. No les dé números de tarjetas de crédito o información de cuentas bancarias. Si le amenazan con desconectar el servicio eléctrico a menos que pague por teléfono, cuelgue inmediatamente y llame a la DREMC.
