Duck River Electric Membership Corporation (DREMC) was honored with Top Tenn communication awards in recognition of work to educate and inform electric co-op members. The honor was presented during the annual meeting of the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association (TECA) in Nashville.
DREMC received an award in the “Wild Card” category as well as the “Best External Newsletter or Magazine” category.
The 24-page Co-op Connections Participating Business booklet won in the “Wild Card” category.
The magazine was judged for excellence in communications. The magazine shares important information to DREMC members.
“Effective communication is a powerful tool for modern electric cooperatives,” says Robin Conover, TECA’s vice president of communications and editor of The Tennessee Magazine.
“We honor these winners for telling the electric cooperative story in a professional way.”
Duck River EMC, a Touchstone Energy® cooperative, is a not-for-profit, member owned organization providing electric and other services to more than 72,000 homes and businesses in southern Middle Tennessee.
