The electric cooperatives of Tennessee, including Duck River Electric (DREMC) and Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association (TECA), sponsored the second annual Biscuits & Bluegrass Brunch on January 13 to honor and welcome back the members of the 115th Tennessee General Assembly as they reconvene following a winter break.

Legislators and their family members, along with Tennessee business and electric cooperative leaders, gathered in Nashville at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum.

This event creates an opportunity for cooperative leaders to meet with state legislators and shine a positive spotlight on the electric cooperatives and our industry.
