You could win this truck at DREMC’s 2026 Annual Membership Meeting!

After much fanfare, we are bringing back last year’s popular grand prize! DREMC is giving away another retired vehicle from our fleet at this year’s meeting. Here are a few details:

ABOUT THE 2026 GRAND PRIZE

DREMC is retiring this truck from our fleet and offering it as the grand prize at the 2026 Annual Membership Meeting! The truck was most recently used by our system engineer based at the headquarters office in Shelbyville, although the truck travelled across all counties served by the cooperative. The truck was used by the system engineer for tasks associated with designing power line upgrades and tie-lines, following up on electrical construction projects by contract crews, and assessing joint-use pole attachments on 5,000+ DREMC poles by other utilities for fiber expansions.

In addition to these important roles, the truck was tasked with specific duties to assess system damage and support the DREMC team during power restoration following a severe thunderstorm and straight-line winds that hit Manchester in 2024 and the January 2026 ice storm that hit Maury County and surrounding areas.

To qualify for winning the grand prize, you must:

  • Be a registered and verified DREMC member.
  • Have the DREMC electric account in your legal name.
  • Be present to win.
  • Have a current and official state driver’s license.

Grand prize winner is responsible for paying the applicable registration and tag fees, and will  need to complete a W-9 form. They will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. DREMC employees and board members are not eligible to win the grand prize.
