Your meter will be read on or about the same day each month. Bills are due when received. Failure to receive a bill does not relieve your obligation to pay by the due date. After a 15-day net bill period, the gross amount of the bill is due.
During March and April of each year, you can elect to sign up for DREMC’s Equal Monthly Payment plan. Your bill will remain constant for 11 months with the 12th month being the settle up month for the entire year. DREMC also offers an option called Levelized Billing. Unlike the Equal Monthly Payment plan, the prior 12 months usage is averaged and moves forward each month, with the payment changing only slightly with each month and with no “settle up” month. This option is only available for residential accounts.
Always bring the bottom portion of your bill with you.
Never mail cash only send a check or money order. Don’t forget to include the bottom portion of your bill to ensure your payment is credited to the correct account.
Please do not pay with cash, but with a check or money order and always include the portion of your bill that has the account number on it.
Service available through your bank. You should make sure your payments are set-up before the due date to avoid late payments. The bank will cut a check and mail to DREMC.
Many local banks accept payments, but remember you must pay the bill by the due date as participating banks will not accept late payments.
You can sign up to have your electric bill drafted from your checking account on the due date.
