Bill Pay Options

How will I be billed?

Your meter will be read on or about the same day each month. Bills are due when received.  Failure to receive a bill does not relieve your obligation to pay by the due date. After a 15-day net bill period, the gross amount of the bill is due.

During March and April of each year, you can elect to sign up for DREMC’s Equal Monthly Payment plan. Your bill will remain constant for 11 months with the 12th month being the settle up month for the entire year. DREMC also offers an option called Levelized Billing. Unlike the Equal Monthly Payment plan, the prior 12 months usage is averaged and moves forward each month, with the payment changing only slightly with each month and with no “settle up” month. This option is only available for residential accounts.
