
Please contact your physician and ask him/her for a letter verifying the need for medical equipment powered by electricity. Once we receive the doctor’s note, we will flag your electric account appropriately. The doctor’s letter can be sent by email to corpinfo@dremc.com or dropped off at any DREMC office during office hours.
Please understand that, though we will do our best to accommodate your situation, we cannot guarantee continued electric service or guarantee a faster restoration time in the case of an outage.
We encourage you to plan ahead — know your local hospital, local shelters, and any other locations that you could relocate to, if needed. There are resources available to help you find these locations. In the case of an emergency, call 911.
