27 Oct Planned TVA outage scheduled for Franklin County’s Sherwood, Anderson communities
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has scheduled a power outage for DREMC members living in the communities of Sherwood and Anderson of Franklin County.
The outage is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, from 6:00 a.m. until approximately noon.
This outage is necessary for TVA to change out poles and will affect all members in the Sherwood and Anderson area but will not affect members in Sewanee, Cowan and Sinking Cove. In the event of inclement weather, the outage will be rescheduled for Nov. 11.
DREMC appreciates the cooperation and understanding of our members during this planned outage as we strive to improve the reliability of the electric system.
