Scammers are threatening businesses in Marshall County with disconnection unless they pay Duck River Electric Membership Corporation (DREMC) bills. The calls came from an 508 prefix telephone number. Comcast service could be affected by failure to pay attachment fees

Duck River Electric Membership Corp. members who are Comcast subscribers in Franklin and Moore counties could have their cable television service interrupted indefinitely if the co-op is forced to disconnect power supplies and remove equipment for non-payment of pole attachment fees.
