Utilities agree to feasibility study of possible merger

Duck River Electric Membership Corporation (DREMC), headquartered in Shelbyville, Tenn., and Mount Pleasant Power System (MPPS), serving Mount Pleasant, Tenn., have agreed to begin the feasibility study of a possible merger.
